What changed
The What changed section is the analysis’s answer to is this matter different from last week. Each development carries why it matters, the new risks and opportunities it creates, and a recommended response.

Nothing material in this period is a real answer, not an empty state. The record has grown and nothing in it moved the case — widen the window to see earlier developments.
The fifteen categories
New supporting evidence · New harmful evidence · Contradictory testimony · Impeachment material · New witness · Missing evidence · New claim · Weakened claim · New defense · Increased damages · Reduced damages · Procedural risk · Deadline · Settlement leverage · Trial strategy
Each development carries a materiality: critical, high, moderate, low or informational — and a confidence: low, medium or high.
Alerts
Alerts are the subset that wants your attention now. They appear on the matter’s overview, on the Analysis tab, and on the dashboard.

Each is New, Acknowledged, Dismissed or Resolved. Acknowledging one says you have seen it; dismissing one takes it off the list.
Choosing what you are told about
What you are told about, on the Analysis tab, applies to this matter only:
- Alert me from — the minimum severity that raises an alert at all.
- Show alerts in the app
- Email me
- Mute this matter
Email carries the case number and the kind of development, never the facts. Nothing substantive about a matter is sent to an inbox.
Notifications about tasks and mentions are separate, and configured on Your account.
Case evolution
Case evolution lists every version of the analysis with what triggered it — after Deposition of R. Alvarez was read, started by hand, phase changed — who started it, whether it was full or incremental, and how it ended.
Compare two versions puts any two side by side and reports what moved between them: developments, gaps opened, gaps closed, actions added.
