What the analysis reads
Every analysis discloses its own coverage. The panel at the top of the Analysis tab reads, for example, 31 read · 4 withheld, and opening it accounts for every document on the matter.
Coverage is disclosed, never chosen. There is no per-run document picker. What the engine may read is decided by the flags on each document, and the panel tells you what that came to.
The five buckets

The rule
Privilege and work product are excluded by the system itself. No role, grant or setting turns them on.
That is the entire mechanism. There is nothing to configure, so there is nothing to misconfigure.
Making a withheld document readable
Only one thing changes a document’s bucket, and it is the document itself:
- Clear the privileged or work product flag on the document, and it becomes eligible on the next run.
- Restore a withdrawn document to the matter.
- Upload the file behind a document that was recorded without one.
- Ask for an unreadable document to be read again.
When nothing is readable
Two empty states you may hit on the Analysis tab:
“Nothing has been filed on this matter yet.” File a document.
“All 6 documents on this matter are withheld from the analysis.” Everything present is privileged, work product, withdrawn, or has no file. The run refuses rather than producing an empty analysis.
The same thing said at the moment you press Analyse: There is nothing on this matter the analysis may read.
