CaseWize Help
CaseWize is case management with a case-intelligence engine underneath it. A firm opens a matter, files what it has, and the documents become searchable text with the page they came from still attached. An analysis runs on top of that and produces findings an attorney can act on — a chronology, the parties, the contradictions, the gaps, what to do next — while tasks, messaging and the client portal keep the work and the client in the same place.
This help centre describes the product as it ships. What you actually see is narrowed by two things: your firm role, and whether you are on the matter at all.
Ask instead of browsing
Ask AI in the top bar answers questions from these pages and links to the ones it used. It knows the product; it cannot see your firm, your matters or your documents.
Four things worth knowing before anything else
A role is a ceiling, not an assignment. Being an attorney says what you may do on a matter you are on. It does not put you on one. A firm owner who has not been added to a matter cannot open it.
Privilege and work product are excluded by the system, not by a setting. A document flagged either way is never read by the analysis, never quoted in it, and never leaves the firm. No role, grant or plan turns that back on.
Analysis is versioned, never overwritten. Every run is a numbered version. Scores, developments and findings hang off it, so you can see what a matter looked like three runs ago and what moved since.
The client sees a list, not the case. The portal reads what has been released to it and nothing else. There is no permission to misconfigure because there is no connection to the case record.
